Recording an EP with Hideaway Club

I'm Charlie, a dedicated drummer of 11 years with a Professional Musicianship Degree from the British Institute of Modern Music in Brighton. Whilst studying my degree, I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge and experience in both playing and teaching the drums and have learnt from the very best - including Rag ‘N’ Boneman’s drummer Ben Thomas and Chic's Drummer Ralph Rolle. It is my passion to share all that I have learnt with my students.
After studying, in 2020 I set up my own drum teaching business where I developed a strong passion for teaching, having been solely a performer in previous years. This passion led me on to peripatetic work in 2022, teaching drums to around 100 students (10 schools) per week in the East Midlands (specifically Derby and Nottingham). I can confidently teach group sessions and 1-1.

Working as a Live Drummer
Whilst being a drum teacher, I am also devoted to playing live and I have had the opportunity in the past to play exciting gigs such as: supporting Glass Gaves at Bodega in Nottingham, Playing 'T'Other Stage' at Tramlines and being on the same bill as: Paolo Nutini, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Miles Kane. I have recorded drums for the band 'Hideaway Club' and continue to play sell out gigs with my current band 'Twenty Eighth Club' from Barnsley.
